GoodSpeed Stunt Minnow
The GoodSpeed Stunt Minnow is a saltwater fly pattern engineered by Joe Goodspeed for serious false albacore and hardtail anglers. Unlike traditional fleeing-baitfish designs, this pattern imitates a stunned or dying minnow—triggering strikes from picky fish that ignore conventional offerings.
The fly's sophisticated design delivers a distinctive side-to-side roll and fluttering action on the pause, creating the exact vulnerable presentation that predators can't resist. Each pause in your retrieve mimics a weakened baitfish, making this pattern devastatingly effective in shallow saltwater flats and structure.
Perfect for sight-casting to false albacore, bonito, and other hardtail species where selectivity and precision matter most.
